A recent survey found 95% of retailers have fallen victim to crime, with incidents ranging from violent burglaries to abusive behaviour.

In response to this, security company Netwatch, which was founded 20 years ago by Castleisland native, David Walsh, has now launched a new product, aimed at making work safer for those working in retail and other public facing roles. In the event of a situation, a staff member can press a panic button, and the Netwatch Staff Safety Solution will mean three trained specialists can hear and see what’s happening live, and can intervene.
