North Kerry Principal on SNA Controversy: “We’re Definitely Going Backwards in Education” – February 17th, 2026

This morning, Jerry spoke to Michelle Sheehy, principal of Asdee National School, a three-teacher school that was told it is due to lose a special needs assistant even though the school had applied for more SNA support. This afternoon the Department of Education announced it’s pausing the review into SNA allocations.
