Environmentalists are organising a climate camp in Tarbert next month. Organisers say it’s the first such camp to be held in Ireland since 2010. Séamus Diskin from the group spoke to Mary Gallagher who asked him what exactly is a climate camp and why is it taking place in Tarbert? Mr Diskin claims that the proposed liquefied natural gas terminal on the Shannon Estuary would involve the use of fracked gas. However, the company behind the development, New Fortress Energy, has said fracked gas would not be used.
