A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Kerry, along with Galway and Mayo.
The alert is valid from 8 o'clock tonight until 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
Met Éireann is warning of gusts of up to 100km/h, with the possibility of wave overtopping along the coast.
