Winner of Stripe Young Scientist hopes to continue brain cancer research

Tralee student and winner of the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, Aoibheann Daly, says she hopes to continue her research.

The 15-year-old's winning project, GlioScope, is designed to help doctors improve the treatment of brain cancer, and reduce the need for invasive biopsies.

The fourth year Mercy Mounthawk student will go on to represent Ireland at the European Union Contest for Young Scientists in Germany this September.
