Water mains to be replaced in part of Tralee

Around 800 metres of ageing water mains is being replaced in Tralee.

Irish Water and Kerry County Council will begin work on the mains on the Oakpark Road in the town in late July.

The section of works will cover from McElligotts Garage and Cluain Dara with old mains being replaced with plastic pipes.

The works may involve some short-term water shut offs and the project team will ensure that customers are given a minimum of 48 hours' notice beforehand.
