Valentia Coast Guard is co-ordinating the airlifting of a man from Dursey Island to hospital in Tralee.
The medical evacuation is being carried out by the Shannon-based Rescue 115 helicopter.
The man suffered an injury on the West Cork island, and is due to arrive at University Hospital Kerry for treatment around now.
