UHK high dependency unit opening delayed

The opening of a high-dependency unit in University Hospital Kerry has been delayed until next week.

The centre was due to open yesterday but the HSE has confirmed that it has been rescheduled.

It says the delay is to further facilitate the installation of equipment and capital infrastructure while staff training and equipment calibration is ongoing this week.
