Two men in their 30s remain in custody this morning after Gardaí discovered a significant number of mobile phones, believed stolen, in Killarney.
Gardaí on patrol stopped a vehicle in the Friary Downs area of the town at approximately half-past-eleven (11:30pm) on Saturday evening.
They searched the vehicle and say they discovered a significant number of mobile phones, believed to have been stolen.
The two men remain in custody at a Garda Station in the county.
Gardaí identified the owners of the mobile phones and efforts are now being made to return the phones to their owners.
Investigations are ongoing.
