Two Kerry natives were honoured at last night’s Irish Film and Television Awards.
Jessie Buckley won lead actress for her role in Hamnet, for which she is also nominated in the upcoming Oscars and BAFTAs.
The film also won awards for Best Supporting Actor for Paul Mescal’s performance, Best International Film and Script Film.

Tralee-based writer Ailbhe Keogan won the award for Best Script Drama for her 4 –part series, Trespasses.
