Twenty patients on trolleys at University Hospital Kerry

Twenty patients have been admitted to University Hospital Kerry (UHK) without a bed to accommodate them.

13 people are on trolleys in the emergency department, while seven are elsewhere in the hospital.

According to the INMO's TrolleyWatch figures, 546 are being treated on trolleys nationally; University Hospital Limerick (UHL) the worst affected with 96 such patients.
