The Trustees of Muckross House hosted its twin American residence in Killarney recently.
Muckross House and Gardens is twinned with Filoli Country House in California, also known as the Bourn-Roth Estate.
The Filoli estate is located 30 miles south of San Francisco and has been the set of several Hollywood films, and most recently TV drama "Dynasty".

A contingent of 26 travelled from the US and were welcomed by the Trustees of Muckross, where they enjoyed a day of cultural, nature and historic tours of Killarney.
