Tributes paid to Muckross man who died in traffic collision in Kilgarvan

Tributes are being paid to Muckross man Paddy O’Donoghue, who passed away following a traffic collision in Kilgarvan this week.

The collision happened at around lunchtime on Tuesday afternoon, when a car collided with Mr O’Donoghue’s bicycle at Church Grounds, Kilgarvan, on the R569.

Glenflesk GAA has said Paddy O’Donoghue was a true Glenflesk stalwart as a player, mentor, and lifelong supporter.

Gardaí are still appealing for witnesses to the collision in Kilgarvan on Tuesday afternoon.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or has any information or dash cam footage is urged to come forward and contact gardaí.
