Tributes paid to man who died in South Kerry farm accident

Tributes have been paid to the man who lost his life in a farm accident in South Kerry.

The man in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene in Tahilla, Sneem.

The Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation, and a postmortem examination is due to take place.

Independent councillor for the Kenmare Municipal District, Dan McCarthy says he was a well known and hard-working man.

Cllr McCarthy says the community is numb following the fatal farm accident.
