A teenager from Kerry has been announced as a winner in a national art competition for young people.
16-year-old Gianna Fitzgibbon, from Tralee, was a winner in the Zurich Young Portrait Prize competition.
Her painting titled Portrait of My Baby Brother won in the 16-18 year old category.

The painting of her brother is on display in the National Gallery in Dublin until next March.
