Tralee GAA club recognised at 2025 National Lottery Good Causes Awards

A Tralee-based GAA club has been recognised at the 2025 National Lottery Good Causes Awards.

Na Gaeil CLG has been named the Irish Language winner at awards, in recognition of its outstanding work in promoting the Irish language through sport, culture and community initiatives.

The club received a prize of €10,000 as category winners.

The judges stated that Na Gaeil has made the Irish language an integral part of everyday club life; they also run language classes and encourage members to speak Irish on and off the pitch.

The National Lottery Good Causes Awards celebrate inspiring organisations and individuals across Ireland who benefit from Good Causes part-funding.
