The Tralee driving test centre is to be expanded to clear the backlog of people waiting for tests due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over 100,000 people are waiting to do their test; almost 3,000 people in Kerry are on the list.

Essential workers are currently being prioritised for tests.
