Tralee business to close after 35 years citing difficult trading conditions and costs as contributing factors

A Tralee-based business is to close its doors after 35 years citing difficult trading conditions and spiralling costs as contributing factors.

Seamus O'Sullivan Master Butchers, which is based in Manor West in Tralee, is to cease trading on August 6th.

Seamus O’Sullivan says the business now needs reinvestment but he says it’s currently not financially viable to reinvest.

The shop currently employs ten people, on a full and part-time basis.

Mr O’Sullivan praised his staff, suppliers and loyal customers who’ve supported the business over the years.

He outlines the reasons behind their decision to close:
