Three grand marshals have been announced for this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade in Killarney.
They are athlete Sarah Leahy; DJ and music producer David Sheerin, popularly known as SHEE, and teenager Fionn O’Leary, who's making a name for himself working with modelling clay.
Sarah Leahy won the Irish indoor title over 60 metres in 2023, and she regained the same title in February last year.

She was also a member of the Irish women’s 4 x 100 metres relay team who broke the Irish national record at the 2025 London Athletics Meet.
She says it’s an honour to be named as one of the grand marshals and she’s looking forward to attending the many events organised:
