Environmental sustainability plans for Cork and Dublin Airport revealed

The DAA have revealed a 20 point environmental sustainability initiative for Cork and Dublin Airports.

The initiative plans to see light vehicle fleets at the airports being 100% electric by the end of the year.

Plans for Cork airport also include a solar farm, photo-bioreactor technology to improve air quality, an increase in rainwater harvesting, and energy efficient LED technology for its apron lighting.
