A status yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued for Kerry.
The warning began just after 2pm and is in place until 8 o'clock this evening.
It also covers Limerick and Cork, with scattered storms expected at times.

Met Éireann says the storms could cause spot flooding in places and may include frequent lightning.
