Status Yellow rain warning for Kerry and Cork

People in Kerry and Cork are advised to take care as persistent rain is expected today.

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for the counties, valid until 5am tomorrow.

Galway and Mayo will be under the same warning from 5 o'clock this evening.

Met Éireann meteorologist Mark Bowe says the rain is going to worsen already wet conditions.
