A status yellow fog warning is in place for Kerry until midday.
Met Éireann says pockets of dense fog will linger and this could lead to impaired visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.
The warning is in place for Munster, Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly and Westmeath.
