A new shrine to the recently-canonised Carlo Acutis will be blessed in Tralee this evening.
Carlo Acutis, known as the Millennial Saint, used his computer skills to promote his faith, while he also helped the bullied, homeless and immigrants.
He died of leukemia at the age of 15 in 2006, and was canonised last year.
A new shrine near Our Lady’s Altar at the Holy Cross Dominican Church, Tralee, will be blessed this evening at 7:30pm by Monsignor Anthony Figureido, and Fr John Harris.
The shrine features a first-class relic of the saint, and a painting of St Carlo by Áine Newsome, a Mercy Mounthawk student from Castlegregory.
