Some Kerry heritage sites now reopened following loosening of restrictions

Some heritage sites in Kerry have now reopened following the latest loosening of public health restrictions.

The Office of Public Works has announced that 48 heritage sites and parks around Ireland will have reopened by the end of this week.

In Kerry, Derrynane House remains closed but the gardens have reopened.

The Blasket Islands viewing point is open, but the visitor centre is closed for refurbishments.

And visitors are allowed in the outdoor spaces at the Ardfert Cathedral, using reception.
