Hotel occupancy rates in the southwest increased slightly during 2025.
That’s according to research by the Irish Hotels Federation, which is hosting its 88th annual conference in the Gleneagle, Killarney today.
It shows hotel occupancy in the southwest was at 72% last year, a 1% increase on 2024’s figures.
It’s slightly below the national average of 76% occupancy throughout the year.
The federation’s annual conference and trade exhibition takes place across today and tomorrow in Killarney.
