Six people were taken to hospital following a serious collision outside Tralee yesterday afternoon.
The crash occurred on the N21 near Ballymacthomas, on the Tralee to Castleisland road, shortly after 4pm.
The two vehicle collision occurred with a number of passengers in one of the vehicles.
The female driver, aged in her 40s was transferred to University Hospital Kerry with serious injuries.
There were 4 passengers in the car, all females, aged in their teens, were taken to University Hospital Kerry with nonlife threatening injuries.
The male driver, aged in his 50s was also transferred to University Hospital Kerry with serious injuries.
Gardaí in Tralee attended the scene and the road was closed and has since reopened.
Investigations ongoing.
