Multiple Kerry groups and volunteers have been nominated for this year’s Clean Coasts Ocean Hero Awards.
Six Kerry nominees have been shortlisted across seven different categories with Maharees Heritage and Conservation nominated in two categories.
Banna Rescue, Ballinskelligs Enviormental Action Group (Beag), Martha Farrell, Presentation College & Tralee Tidy Towns and Sea Synergy have also been shortlisted.
The awards celebrate Clean Coasts groups and individuals who are championing coastal care and protection in their communities.
Winners will be announced on December 5th at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin.

Maharees Heritage and Conservation have been nominated for Group of the Year and Nature Guardian Award.
Banna Rescue is up for Community Champion.
Ballinskelligs Enviormental Action Group (Beag), are shortlisted for Community Acton Award.
Martha Farrell has been nominated for a Leadership Award.
Presentation College and Tralee Tidy Towns is shortlisted for the Campaign Ambassador Award.
Sea Synergy is up for the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Award.
