Silent march to take place in Killarney in response to housing of international applicants

A march is due to take place in Killarney this afternoon.

This is in response to proposals to house approximately 70 male international applicants in the Harmony Inn Guesthouse on Muckross Road .

A public meeting was held last Sunday night by residents, to raise their concerns about the pressure this would put on services in the town.

The silent march is due to take place today at 2pm in Killarney.
