Short film Haven to benefit from €10,000 Kerry Short Film Bursary

A film following the interactions between an Irish farming woman and a child, who has newly arrived to Ireland, has been awarded the 2021 Kerry Short Film Bursary of €10,000.

The bursary has been awarded to 3 Hot Whiskeys Productions for their short film ‘Haven’, which will go into production in Kerry this summer.

The successful team consists of Producer Hugh O’Donoghue, Director Mo O’Connell & Writers, Rehan Ali and Ivan Cush.

Producer Hugh O’Donoghue is from Killarney and says they are incredibly honoured to be chosen for this bursary.

This Bursary is funded by Kerry County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland to support and encourage film-making within the county.
