The search for Michael Gaine, who has been missing from his home in Kenmare since last week, has entered its sixth day.
Extensive searches have been ongoing since Michael, who is also known as Mike, was last seen on Thursday.
56-year-old Michael Gaine was last seen in Centra in Kenmare just before 10am on Thursday wearing an orange woolly hat, black fleece, blue jeans and black boots.
Extensive searches have been taking places in recent days with hundreds of people from the community involved over the weekend along with Gardaí, Civil Defence, the Coast Guard and Kerry Mountain Rescue.
Yesterday, Gardaí stated they weren’t seeking volunteers to help in their search of his farmyard in Carrig East, Kenmare.
Several slurry tanks were emptied and the farmyard and buildings were also searched.
Gardaí have taken statements from a number of people in connection with Mr Gaine's disappearance and they are also gathering CCTV.
A search of Mr Gaine’s farm is continuing today.
