A fire that broke out in the sand dunes in the Maharees has been brought under control.
The blaze erupted at around 12.45 this afternoon in the popular West Kerry beach resort.
Firefighters from Tralee brought the flames under control.

There are unconfirmed reports that a lit cigarette may have started the fire.
A full investigation will be carried out to establish the cause.
