Safety improvement works taking place in Abbeydorney expected to last six weeks

Safety improvement works will take place in Abbeydorney and they are expected to last for six weeks.

The works will get underway today (Thursday June 4th).

They’ll take place at the Abbeydorney Junction, at the intersection of the R556, R557 and L2002 Bridge Road.

Kerry County Council says for the duration of the works, there’ll be a combination of traffic lights and stop/go traffic management in place.

The council is urging motorists to allow extra travel time and to drive with care in the area of the safety improvement works.
