A road in North Kerry is to remain closed for a two-week period.
Kerry County Council is extending the closure to facilitate repair works at Inch West Bridge.
The L-6028 Inch West Road between Gale Cross on the R553 Ballybunion Road and Dromurrin Cross on the L-1011 closed to traffic on Friday, and will stay closed until 5pm on December 12th.
Diversions are in place and the council has thanked the public for their patience while the works are being completed.
Local Access & Diversions:
Inch West road will be closed to through traffic at the Inch West Bridge and local access will be provided on approaches from both the R553 Ballybunion Road and L-1011 Dromurrin Road.
Local traffic may also divert onto the nearby parallel road, L-6037 Derra West Road, to travel between the R553 Ballybunion Road and L-1011 Dromurrin Road.
