Record daily total of 13,675 new Covid cases confirmed today

Yesterday's highest daily total of positive Covid-19 cases was short-lived.

13,675 new cases of the virus were confirmed today by the Department of Health.

That's an increase of just shy of two and a half thousand on yesterday.

378 people are in hospital with the virus, with 87 of those currently in ICU.
