Siamsa Tíre has announced the recipients of it's new “Roots” Artist Residency Programme 2026.
The programme is an initiative designed to support professional artists across disciplines by providing time, space and resources to develop new work.
The five recipients are accomplished across a range of areas including play-writing, poetry, sound design and contemporary dance.
Alma Kelliher, Caoimhe O’Farrell, Clodagh Healy, Kelly Keesing and Dr Victoria Kennefick will all be taking up residencies over the year in Siamsa Tíre, making use of the theatre, rehearsal spaces and gallery facilities.
These residencies have been made possible via core partnership funding from The Arts Council of Ireland and Kerry County Council, along wuth additional support for from Munster Technological University.
