Public consultation opens on Killarney skateboard park

Kerry County Council has issued notice that it pans to construct a skateboard park in Killarney.

The 300 square metre skatepark will be built on the grounds of Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre and will include street features such as rails and grind blocks, ramps and a quarter pipe.

Plans for the long-awaited facility can be viewed on the council's website for the next four weeks.

Public submissions on the development must be received by Kerry County Council by Wednesday the 25th of August.
