Gardaí are asking the public to be aware of bogus tradesmen in the county.
The group of traveling criminals are reportedly from the North of Ireland, and have been visiting private residents and schools.
These tradesmen are offering private line work at a reduced cost on parking spaces and road lines.

The work is often left incomplete and of poor quality, and Garda Patricia Fitzpatrick is urging the public not to engage with the scam:
