A preliminary design has been prepared for the second phase of the Kenmare Relief Road scheme.
Kerry County Council’s also preparing a business case for submission to the Department of Transport, which would enable this phase to progress further through the design stage.
The council intends to apply for funding again, under the Specific Improvement Grant, which is usually in October each year.
