Planning permission has been granted for a waste facility in East Kerry.
The site is located in Inchicorrigane East, Kilcummin at the junction of the roads leading from Gneevguilla and from Barraduff.
The proposed development is to construct a waste facility for the importation of waste material and is to consist of a recovery facility for greenfield soil and stones.

Michael F Quirke & Sons will now apply to Kerry County Council for a Waste Facility Permit.
Biodiversity Officer Cathy Fisher said the proposed development won't have an impact on special areas of conservation.
