People in Kerry are being urged to take part in the Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s Tea Day 2025.
Now in its 31st year, the event aims to encourage communities to gather, share a cup of tea and raise awareness and funds for ASI.
It’s estimated that 64,000 people in Ireland live with dementia, including over 2,400 in Kerry.
This year’s theme is “Tea is the Best Time of the Day”, and the ASI are urging people in the county to register to host an event.
Alzheimer’s Tea Day 2025 takes place on May 1st, with further information, including details on the free organiser’s toolkit, can be found on teaday.ie
