Over €39 million has been allocated to Kerry County Council for the delivery of social and affordable housing in 2025.
Social and affordable Housing is delivered through a range of Local Authority and Approved Housing Body (AHB) delivery programmes.
In 2025, Government has allocated almost €7.5 billion in capital investment for Housing.
That figure is inclusive of Land Development Agency investment and Housing Finance Agency (HFA) lending.
Up to the end of September of this year, €39.19 million euro has been allocated to Kerry County Council to provide social and affordable housing in the county.
Of the €7.5 billion allocated to local authorities nationwide, the highest amount has been allocated to Dublin City(€302.97 million), followed by Fingal (€244.5 million), and Cork City (€140.68 million).
The figures were provided by Minister for Housing, James Browne, following a query from People Before Profit Alliance TD, Richard Boyd Barrett.
