Over 500 people on hospital trolleys today

There are 506 people without a bed in Irish hospitals this morning.

355 patients are on trolleys in emergency departments across the country, while 151 are on trolleys in wards elsewhere.

Letterkenny University Hospital is the worst affected in the country, with 66 people on trolleys.

There are 51 people are without a bed at University Hospital Limerick, while 16 are waiting at University Hospital Kerry.
