Over 14,300 people are on waiting lists for outpatient and inpatient appointments at University Hospital Kerry.
That’s according to figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund for January.
14,338 people were waiting on outpatient and inpatient appointments at University Hospital Kerry, as of the end of January.
There are also another 669 people on the planned procedure list there – these are patients who have had treatment but require additional treatment at UHK at a future date.
These figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund from the end of January show there were almost 12,200 (11,956) people awaiting outpatients’ appointments at UHK.
Over 10,900 (10,968) of these are adults, while almost 1,000 (988) are children.
There are more than 1,700 (1,741) people awaiting inpatients’ appointments at UHK, including for endoscopies, as of the end of January.
Meanwhile, 138 people are on the inpatient day case to come in list at the Tralee hospital, and a further 229 people are on the endoscopy TCI list.
