One more person with COVID-19 has died. There has now been a total of 1,744 deaths related to the virus in the Republic.

The Health Protection Surveillance Centre says as of midnight on Thursday it was notified of 25 more confirmed cases.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 25,589.

No new cases have been confirmed in Kerry; the total number of COVID-19 cases remains at 310.
