There are no patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
The figures show there were not any patients waiting on trolleys in the wards or the Emergency Department of UHK this morning.
According to the INMO, it’s the second time this month that zero patients were waiting for beds in the Tralee hospital; the last occurrence was on May 1st.
However, this data does not include weekends or bank holidays.
Nationally 444 patients are waiting on trolleys, University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 109 people awaiting a bed.
