The Department has also reported 252 new cases of the virus.
88 are in Dublin, 26 in Cork, 21 in Kilkenny, 16 in Louth and the remaining 101 cases are spread across 22 other counties.

The 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 people in Kerry is now 60.3 the third lowest rate in the country.
