A new pathway to integrate care in the community has launched at University Hospital Kerry.
Kerry Alternative Prehospital Pathway (KAPP) is an initiative between the National Ambulance Service and UHK's Emergency Department.
This service, which is now live at UHK, will treat low acuity ambulance calls in the community.

The aim is to treat and discharge on the scene rather than transporting the patient to the Emergency Department.
