The new caretakers of the Blasket Islands have been announced.
Every year, two people are selected to manage the 3 rustic holiday cottages and a small coffee shop on the uninhabited island from April to October.
This year, Aisling Costello and Conor Jones are leaving their office jobs in Cork and will arrive on the island on April 1st.

Due to the high volume of applications for the role each year, a cap of 300 has been placed on applications.
Aisling, who's from Kilkenny said they had their application ready for months.
