The National flag is flying at half-mast at Garda Stations across Kerry in honour of Garda Kevin Flatley, who died in the line of duty.
Balbriggan native, Kevin Flatley was fatally hit by a motorcycle while carrying out a speed checkpoint in Dublin on Sunday afternoon.
Books of Condolences have been placed in nine Garda stations across Kerry for people who wish to pay their respects.

The books are located in Garda Stations in Tralee, Listowel, Killarney, Ballybunion, Dingle, Castleisland, Killorglin, Caherciveen and Kenmare.
